    The site is part of a purpose built pre-1990 terrace property in a predominantly residential area of Hackney. The redevelopment of this site will provide two new retail units across ground floor and basement levels, with three two-bedroom apartments in the upper parts.

     

    The new shops are expected to provide a total of 131m2 of commercial space which will be marketed by LB Hackney prior to completion.

     

    This was a particularly challenging project in terms of logistics, being located within a terraced row along Stoke Newington Church Street. 

     

    We provided both new mechanical and electrical schemes to both the new residential apartments and two commercial retail units. Services include new heating, hot and cold water services, light, small power, fire alarm, access control, BT and satellite TV systems.

     

    We worked alongside Hackney boroughs preferred M&E design consultant to produce a well finished product.
